Purpose of this policy
This policy describes how PIASA and its subcontractors process and protect the personal data of visitors and users (hereinafter the “User(s)”) when they browse the www.piasa.fr website (hereinafter the “Site”) and use PIASA services. This policy mainly covers data processed via the Site, but also applies to data collected via a PIASA employee.
This policy may be modified, supplemented or updated in order to comply with any legal, regulatory, jurisprudential or technical developments.
The User's personal data is always processed in accordance with the policy in force at the time of collection, unless an imperative legal requirement stipulates otherwise and applies retroactively.
Data collection and source
All data concerning Users is collected directly from them with their consent, when a User accepts the use of cookies, registers on our platform to order our catalogs, participate in a sale or place a purchase order, or when signing an auction mandate.
User rights
In accordance with articles 39 and 40 of the law N. 78-17of 6th January 1978 modified by ordinance n°2018-1125 of 12th December 2018 and relating to data processing, files and freedoms, the User has the right to access, rectify and delete any personal data concerning him/her. The User may exercise this right by contacting PIASA at the above address.
Confidentiality
Your personal data is confidential and will not be communicated to third parties except for the proper execution of the tasks entrusted to PIASA.
Under the law n° 2000-719 of 1st August 2000, the contact details declared by the User may be communicated upon request by the legal authorities.
Purpose of the collected data
1. Necessity of collection
Most of PIASA's services do not require any form of registration, enabling Users to visit the Site without having to identify themselves. Nevertheless, certain information is recorded for the purposes of analyzing tra^ic and usage (cookies).
Certain services, particularly the online purchase order service, may require the provision of personal data. If the User chooses not to provide the information requested, the User may not be able to access certain parts of the Site, and PIASA may not be able to respond to the User's request.
Data collection complies with the legislative framework applied to public auctions in France. As such, PIASA is obliged to maintain archives that comply with current standards to ensure the proper execution of its auctions.
2. Purpose
PIASA collects the User's personal data to enable the User to browse the Site, order our sales catalogs, receive our newsletter and/or fill in online purchase orders and bid online. This information is also collected for the purpose of preventing and combating computer fraud and other illicit activities.
PIASA may also collect personal data to improve the User's browsing experience on the Site (cookies).
Moreover, when the User fills in a form to request information, this data is collected by PIASA in order to contact the User.
Data protection
PIASA attaches great importance to the protection of its Users' personal data and employs security measures that comply with applicable standards. It should be noted, however, that each User is responsible for his or her own identifiers, which may not be shared with third parties.

Personal data is kept for as long as is necessary to ensure the proper performance of the tasks entrusted to PIASA. It is then destroyed in accordance with the time limit stipulated by applicable legislation.
