PIASA offers a variety of flexible and convenient ways to participate in its auctions, tailored to meet your needs and preferences. Whether you wish to bid in person, online, by phone, or by absentee bid, explore our different methods.
Bidding In-Room:
Our auctions are open to the public and accessible to all. No prior registration is required. Simply bring a valid ID and register on-site; you will be assigned a bidder number.
Bidding Online:
Follow and place bids in real time from your computer or mobile device. Log in to your account, register for the sale of your choice, and then click "Join the Sale" when the session begins to enter the online auction platform and place bids.
Bidding by Phone:
Submit your phone bidding request to the sale manager or directly through our website. On the day of the sale, a member of our team will call you at the time your selected lots are auctioned, allowing you to follow the sale live and place bids through them.
Bidding by Absentee Bid:
An absentee bid is a mandate given to the auctioneer, specifying the maximum amount a bidder is willing to pay for a lot. Before the sale, the auctioneer reviews your absentee bids. During the auction, they will bid on your behalf as if you were present. You can submit absentee bids for all our Live and Onlive sales directly on our website.
Once the sale is closed
The day after a sale, PIASA provides you with an adjudication slip detailing the lots you’ve won. This official document summarizes all the essential information regarding your purchases, including lot descriptions, hammer prices, buyer's premiums, and payment terms. Once the payment is settled, you can arrange to collect your acquisitions.
Paying for your lots
Payment for a lot can be made via bank transfer, credit card, cheque, or cash (up to a limited amount). Please refer to the terms of sale on each auction page for detailed payment conditions.
Collecting your lots
Your lots can be collected from our storage facility the day after the sale, once payment has been made and by appointment. PIASA’s Transport Department will organize all administrative procedures (transport, customs, temporary importation) upon request and remains at your disposal for any further information. For more details on collection and storage conditions, please refer to the terms of sale.
