Our Modern and Contemporary Art department achieved its strongest half-year in many years, doubling its sales volume. These results were achieved mainly thanks to the dispersal of two major private collections, during which we obtained many new records for certain artists: the sale of “Pablo Picasso and his friends” on February 15, 2024, and the sale of part of the Geneviève and Jean-Paul Kahn collection “from Surrealism to Pop Art” on June 5.
